ST. ROSE VISIT WITH BREA FROM KENDRA SCOTT

Today we made our monthly visit to St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus, but this time, we had a special guest with us. Brea from Kendra Scott at Fashion Show Mall came with us to present each of the mother’s of the sick children we delivered comic books to with a belated Mother’s Day present.

Our cosplay volunteers visited with eight amazing kids and their mothers, all of whom were so happy to see our cosplay volunteers. We gave out two full boxes of comics, a bunch of itty bitty plushies, and each mother got a Kendra Scott necklace from Brea.

We always love helping the kids smile, but sometimes they crack us up too. Whether it was one little one who thought Spider-Man’s spider was gross or the little boy who is apparently named Why because when Starfire asked him his name, he sarcastically replied with, “Why?” Then he posed for a picture with us.

All in all, it was a great visit and we’d like to thank St. Rose for letting us come out and Brea from Kendra Scott for helping the moms smile too. We hope all of the moms out there had a very Happy Mother’s Day! 🙂
