December 12, 2026

You’re invited!

The Heroes & Villains Ball began as a way to invite our community to bring their favorite characters to life — with the creative twist of a winter formal party theme.

Nearly 10 years later the guest list has grown and the location has changed, but the heart of the event remains the same - a unique and memorable fundraiser in support of Critical Care Comics.

* 2026 tickets include access to signature cocktails and open bar. Guests are required to be 21+.

This year’s Heroes & Villains Ball will feature
♦ Celebrity chef dishes, open bar and signature cocktails included
♦ Dancing, entertainment and iconic games
♦ Costume contest for the best-dressed heroes and villains.
♦ $1,000s in raffle ticket prizes!

Bringing these characters to life has the ability to provide an escape from reality. This is central CCC’s mission sending superheroes to visit hospitals every week. Come escape for an evening and celebrate the impact these amazing characters can have on all of us. Dress in evening attire inspired by your favorite characters from all corners of fiction.

New for 2026, Chef Bruce Kalman of Soulbelly BBQ - recently added to the Michelin Guide - is sharing his talents preparing dishes for guests.

About CCC

Since 2012, Critical Care Comics (CCC) has sent superheroes to visit kids in hospitals and deliver comic books. CCC’s mission is to provide kids with an escape if only for 28 pages. The work their volunteers do goes far beyond this.

As of 2026, CCC has expanded its impact by supporting medical partners with new equipment, providing necessities to lowincome families seeking treatment, and creating a scholarship for childhood cancer survivors. Since it’s launch in 2023, CCC has awarded nearly $100,000 in college scholarships!

Sponsoring Critical Care Comics’ annual Heroes & Villains Ball helps us continue our mission and provides a unique opportunity to showcase your brand to our diverse audience of followers and event guests.
